Since their formation in 2019, Cool Aid has made great efforts not to fit into any musical category. Indie pop, R&B, disco-funk, or rather synthpop? A bit of everything – yet unmistakably unique. They call their sound aesthetic “Newtro” – an innovative fusion that combines both modern and vintage elements. With singles like “You Fall in Love Too Easily” and “Guitar for Robots”, Cool Aid has already achieved international success and presented Newtro on numerous stages both domestically and abroad.

With their debut album Fragments, Cool Aid ushers in a new era of their creative work. With a unique blend of soft rock, synthpop, and indie pop, the five musicians bring their innovative sound to the market. The album title Fragments couldn’t be more fitting: each track tells its own story – inspired by personal experiences, social themes, and a diverse sonic palette. They skillfully merge musical “fragments” into a harmonious mosaic.

In March 2025, the band embarked on their first Germany tour to bring Fragments live to the stage – a show combining musical and emotional highlights. From Frankfurt to Nuremberg, Cologne, Potsdam, and Berlin, Cool Aid played in renowned clubs and thrilled their audience with their infectious energy. But this is just the beginning: following the success of their first tour, they are now bringing their show to stages all across Germany!

Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 2019 geben sich Cool Aid reichlich Mühe, in keine musikalische Schublade zu passen. Indiepop, R&B, Disco-Funk oder doch eher Synthpop? Von allem ein bisschen – aber doch unvergleichlich. Ihre Soundästhetik nennen sie dabei „Newtro“ – eine innovative Fusion, die sowohl moderne als auch Vintage-Elemente vereint. Mit Singles wie „You Fall in Love Too Easily“ und „Guitar for Robots“ konnte Cool Aid bereits international Erfolge erzielen und Newtro auf zahlreichen Bühnen im In- und Ausland präsentieren.

Musikalische „Bruchstücke“ verschmelzen sie dabei gekonnt zu einem harmonischen Mosaik.
