HALFPASTSEVEN

After a long history of releases on Frankfurt Label Oiyo Records, Amsterdam-based producer Halfpastseven has finally released his first vinyl record, the album 'Music To Walk Home To'.

He describes it as a multi-genre project full of nostalgia and euphoria, designed to be the soundtrack of a moment in time. Mostly inspired by childhood memories and big city feelings, reflections on growing up in Frankfurt and living as an emerging artist in Amsterdam. For the first time, Halfpastseven uses his knowledge as a trained jazz pianist and producer to create an Ableton Live set with interactive live-looping and beat-making. A way to reflect the artist's diversity and to bring it all together in a high energy live performance.
