NI-KA & THE URBAN ART ORCHESTRA

With NI-KA, the German soul returns to the stage. The promising singer, who set new standards for the German-speaking RnB with her EP "Soultize" in the summer of 2022, now presents herself with a unique concert experience: Together with the Urban Art Orchestra, NI-KA will perform her still unpublished songs live.

The Urban Art Orchestra was created by Jona Heckmann, who wanted to create a slightly different sound experience for his final exam of the Master in Big Band Conducting. He achieved this by rearranging a string quartet, a four-piece wind set and a rhythm section NI-KA songs from the new album, which will be released in August 2024. Thus, classical music meets expressive soul and hip-hop - a fresh wind for the local scene.
